Missing Snowmobiler Found on Lake of the Woods

A lost snowmobiler has been found on the Canadian side of Lake of the Woods after Minnesota authorities received a 911 call from him Monday night.
The snowmobiler called 911 at 6:48 p.m. to report that he was lost and his sled had become stuck in snow and slush. The call was received by the Lake of the Woods Sheriff's Office in Baudette.
A CC 130 Hercules operated by the 435 (Transport and Rescue) Squadron out of Winnipeg located the snowmobiler at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. They dropped a radio to him to allow for communication until rescuers could arrive at the location by snowmobile
The man was cold but in good health.
