Bayfield Co. Snowmobile Crash Kills Indiana Man

A man from northwestern Indiana died in a snowmobile crash in Bayfield County over the weekend.
The Bayfield County Sheriff's Department says Justin Charles Mulder, 26, died in the accident in the Town of Barnes on Sunday afternoon. Investigators say it appears Mulder was travelling by himself and his snowmobile failed to negotiate a corner on East Idlewild Road, crashing in a wooded area. He died at the scene of the crash.
Mulder is the third person to die in a snowmobile crash in Bayfield County this year. Another three people have died in snowmobile-related incidents near Madeline Island in Ashland County.
