Duluth Man Accused in Sword Stabbing Charged

A Duluth man accused of stabbing another man with a sword on Monday night faces formal charges.
According to St. Louis County court administration, 43-year-old Kyle McClain was charged with two felony counts of assault Thursday.
On Monday, Duluth police said they were called to the city's detoxification center on the 1400 block of East Superior Street after a man walked in with a stab wound to his chest.
Police said they checked the victim's residence and found a blood trail in the snow leading them to a another residence on the 1000 block of East 3rd Street.
They found found three males inside. More investigation led to the arrest of McClain, according to police.
Inside the residence, police also said they found a sword believed to have been used by McClain.
