A Superior gas station was robbed at knife point Tuesday afternoon, and authorities are asking the public for help finding the suspect.

The Superior Police Department responded to a robbery call at the ICO station on the 2700 block of North 21st Street in the Billing's Park neighborhood around 3 o'clock. According to authorities, the store clerk said a younger male entered the store, lingered in the aisles, approached the counter to buy something then raised a knife as the clerk opened the cash register.

Authorities said the suspect demanded all the money in the register, and reached over the counter and into the cash drawer. They said he was only able to take a small amount of money before leaving the store and running away.

The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, about 5'7" with a small build and slight scruffy facial hair, according to authorities.

They said he was wearing a knit hat, a dark colored puffy jacket and tattered blue jeans.

Anyone with information related to the incident or that was in the area at the time is asked to call the Superior Police Department at 715-395-7468.
