Man Falls From Deer Stand, Suffers Severe Injuries

A Ham Lake man is in critical condition Saturday night, after falling about 8 feet from his deer stand.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says 55-year-old David Martii was working on the stand, in preparation of the upcoming deer hunting season, when he fell.
A friend of Martii's was able to call 911. Martii was airlifted Essentia Health-St. Mary's in Duluth.
The accident happened in White Township, about 10 miles southeast of Aurora.
