Police are looking for information from the public, following a call reporting the sound of shots in Duluth's Central Hillside neighborhood Monday night.
Jim Hansen, the Duluth Police Department's Public Information Officer, said the call came in at 7:40 from First Avenue West and Fifth Street.
Hansen said a dark four-door sedan driving southbound on First Avenue West stopped at Fifth Street and several shots were fired, but no one was injured. He tells Eyewitness News the vehicle then continued southbound on First Avenue West.
Eight shell casings were found at the scene, according to Hansen, which came from two different small caliber guns.
Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
