Princeton Man Struck and Killed While Driving Rascal Scooter

78-year-old Eugene Zeroth, of Princeton, was killed on Saturday after being hit by a vehicle while driving his Rascal Scooter in Itasca County.
Zeroth was driving his motorized scooter on County Road 29, in the Dora Lake area, when he came off of an access road, into a traffic lane, and in front of a vehicle.
The eastbound vehicle struck Zeroth around 12:16 pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
