The Duluth Fire Department and airport ground crews were mobilized Saturday morning, after a plane reported an in-flight emergency.
According to Tom Werner, interim executive director of the Duluth International Airport, a Fed-Ex plane landed without one of it's front tires around 9 am.
The pilot noticed the issue while they were still in the air, and relayed the information to the authorities on the ground.
Werner says that while it was a cause for concern, it was handled very well.
