Fatal Motorcycle Crash on LCO Reservation

A motorcycle driver died on Tuesday after crashing with an SUV.
The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Police said the crash happened around 1:30pm, on Chief Lake Road.
Officers found a female passenger from the bike to be injured. She was airlifted to Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.
The driver of the motorcycle was declared dead at the scene.
People inside the SUV had minor injuries and were checked out at a local hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
No names are being released at this time.
