I'Falls Man Dies After Rear-Ending Dump Truck

There was a fatal accident in International Falls on Tuesday.
The International Falls Police Department said a 31-year-old male from the International Falls area was driving when he rear-ended a 1994 Mack 600 dump truck. The victim had been driving a 1988 GMC van.
The police department said the accident happened on Keenen Drive or County Road 45 at 8:48 a.m. A witness told Eyewitness News the accident happened near a construction site there.
The driver, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene. The dump truck operator was not injured. His truck is owned by Nemanich, Inc. of Eveleth.
