    Governor Mark Dayton's bonding proposal includes a fund that could benefit Northland waters. WLSSD was highlighting two projects on Thursday that they're hoping will be funded by an $80 million Wastewater Infrastructure Fund in the governor's proposal.

    The St. Louis River estuary continues to be marred by industrial pollution, but Governor Mark Dayton aims to change that in this bonding session. In January, Dayton announced he's intent to make improving water quality one of his highest priorities, and on Thursday, state officials were in Duluth explaining why Dayton is proposing the St. Louis River be one of the state's biggest investments in that effort.
