Man Dies From Accidental Drowning in Iron River

On Monday The Town of Iron River Police Department said they responded to Half Moon Lake on the report of a male that was possibly the victim of a drowning.
Officers located a 46-year-old male unresponsive face down in the water, and upon further investigation determined he had been in the water for several days. He was visiting with family.
The victim was identified as Steven M. Lee of Brainerd, Minnesota. Authorities believe the incident is an accidental drowning pending autopsy reports.
The Town of Iron River ambulance, Town of Iron River Dive Team, and the Bayfield County Coroner assisted at the scene.
