148th Fighter Wing Receives Prestigious Award

The 148th Fighter Wing has received the Winston P. Wilson trophy, awarded for being the most outstanding Air National Guard unit with a fighter aircraft.
This is the wing's second Wilson trophy, the last one coming in 1957.
Leaders from the 148th receved the award at the National Guard Association Conference last week in Reno, Nev.
300 members of the 148th are currently deployed to Afghanistan as part of a two-month deployment.
