Attempted Armed Robbery Leads to Three Arrests

Three suspects were arrested in Cloquet after police said they attempted to rob people at a party with a gun.
It happened September 16 at around 1:20 a.m. on Maplewood Avenue in Cloquet. Officers said three people went to a party in a garage with a handgun and demanded money from party goers. After no money was handed over, a gunshot was fired into the ceiling.
The suspects ran from the house and were later found hiding in the woods. Police said two juvenile males and one adult male were arrested. The suspects have not been formally charged and the investigation continues.
The Cloquet Police Department, along with the Carlton County Sheriff's Office and Found du Lac Police Department, responded to the incident.
