Discussing the Marriage Amendment Respectfully

People were gathered at the Coppertop (also known as the First United Methodist Church) for a new project called "Respectful Conversations."
Saturday they focused on the proposed amendment to the Minnesota State Constitution that would define marriage as between one man and one woman. Their goal is to "soften up" the often harsh debate on the subject.
The Respectful Conversation Project is a statewide effort by the Minnesota Council of Churches to explore issues through deep conversations while maintaining, even enhancing, relationships among those who disagree.
