Gauthier Released from St. Luke's Hospital

Representative Kerry Gauthier has been released from St. Luke's Hospital, according to City Councilor Sharla Gardner. He was released Saturday afternoon.
According to Gardner, Gauthier was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after he had difficulty breathing. Gardner said Gauthier remained in intensive care at St. Luke's Hospital Thursday afternoon.
Fire Chief John Strongitharm confirmed that the department responded to the lawmaker's home Wednesday morning to provide medical assistance. The hospitalization occurred after police reports surfaced alleging sexual contact between Gauthier and a 17-year-old male at a Thompson Hill rest area.
