Volunteers in Moose Lake are putting out the plea for more volunteers and help as they continue feeding hundreds more than a week after floods took hold of the Northland.
Volunteer coordinator Cheryl Kohner said Thursday night that reinforcements there would be great.
"I would say probably ready for a break, ready for a break glad to be of service. Awesome volunteers, but they're tired. They are ready for a break," Kohner said.
Volunteers there said they're calling the food center the Moose Lake Flood Water Café. They're in need, not only of a fresh batch of volunteers, but monetary donations or anything else that can be spared.
If you're interested in donating time or services, call Carlton County Volunteer Services at (218) 879-9238.
