While there has been water everywhere, there's a shortage of blood in the Northland.
The Memorial Blood Center in Duluth has had to temporarily close three donation offices and cancel several blood drives due to the flooding.
Wendy Capetz, the centers Director of Marketing, says summer is normally a hard time of year with blood shortages, but with the added confusion and distractions of the floods, there are even fewer people coming in.
They are calling out to the public to help. Memorial blood centers provide blood to over 30 hospitals and clinics across northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.
