Grand Parade of Ships

Wednesday's weather caused a few minor delays for the ships coming in, but they made it in Grand style Thursday afternoon!
Thousands of visitors lined Canal Park and other high points in Duluth to see the Parade of Sail. Eight of the nine tall ships sailed under the Aerial Lift Bridge.
It has been two years since the first tall ships event which drew 125,000 people to the Twin Ports. This year Visit Duluth has added a full festival type atmosphere with food and beverages.
The festivities will continue through the weekend.
