    Even four years later, 2012 flood recovery efforts are still ongoing at Chamber's Grove Park. The popular Duluth park has been closed throughout the last year for construction, but it is inching toward re-opening as $1.1 million of upgrades continue.

    After lead-paint contamination delayed progress, work has now started on a new Duluth development. Crews were clearing trees at the site Tuesday morning which is situated at 40th and 41st avenues east between Jay and Dodge streets in the Lakeside.

    The Grocery Express, the DTA bus which drops shoppers off directly at the Lincoln Park SuperOne, is adding a day to its schedule to boost ridership. For the past year, it's been in service solely on Tuesdays. Now, it will split its time between Tuesday and Saturday. 

  • Body Recovered from Big Fork River is Identified

    The elderly man's body recovered Monday from the Big Fork River has been identified as Farrel D. Cockrum. Kochiching County Sheriff Perryn Hedlund said the 82-year-old of rural Little Fork went down to the river Sunday evening to take a bath.
