Virginia Homemaker Invents Meatball Baker

Jean Rindfuss is a homemaker who turned her frustration over meatballs, into a new invention.

"They used to come out greasy and flat," she said from her Virginia home. That was when she made them in a frypan.

So she came up with an idea to have them cook on top of a broiler type pan, and submitted that idea to an invention company.

Two and a half years later, the Meatball Baker is on the market.

"I think it's wonderful. If you have an idea, write it down. You never know what may come of it," Rindfruss said.

Over 7000 Meatball Bakers sold on the shopping network QVC in about 20 minutes last month. Rindfuss watched from home, in awe.

You can order them online at www.qvc.com

They sell for under $20.
