Recount Resumes

With the Thanksgiving break over, election officials in cities across Minnesota resumed their recount in the U.S. Senate race Monday.

As of Monday, 94 percent of Minnesota's precincts had been recounted. Republican Norm Coleman now has 2,369 fewer votes than he did on election day. Democrat Al Franken has 2,498 fewer votes. This means Coleman has made a net gain of 129. But keep in mind, so far almost 6,000 ballots have been challenged.
