St. Luke's Regional Cancer Center is hosting a free lecture on managing the legal and financial issues of cancer survivorship.
Dr. Basem Goueli stopped by Good Morning Northland to tell us about the cancer survivorship series and the many resources available at the cancer center.
The lecture is on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at Marshall School Auditorium (1215 Rice Lake Road in Duluth).
St. Luke's is offering a light dinner at 5 p.m.
The lecture runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited to the lecture, whether you are a cancer survivor, family member, or simply interested in learning more.

Mesabi Humane Society Dog Needs a Home
The Mesabi Humane Society is looking to find a home for dog that has been at the shelter for almost two years. The six year-old boxer mix named Twinkie needs to have surgery on her hind legs after getting hurt in a mine pit. Twinkie will only have surgery if she is adopted, and the cost of the surgery will be paid by donated funds.
