TSgt Denise Owen, Amanda Martin, and Mario Morales with the Air National Guard Duluth Air Guard joined us on Good Morning Northland on Friday.

They gave us a preview of the United States Air Force's new Air National Guard Mobile Experience at the Duluth Air Show this year.

Ben and Maarja had a blast trying out the pull-up bar!

The Air Show kicks off Saturday, August 23 and goes through Sunday, August 24.

The immersive experience will provide people an opportunity to participate in simulated challenges that replicate the real-life experiences of Air Guard men and women during Basic Military Training (BMT), technical training and on drill weekend.

The experience features a series of three challenges; each simulating real life roles and skills sets of Air Guardsmen.

Through these challenges, participants will be able to test their electronic, medical, mechanical, observational and spatial aptitudes, hone their surveillance skills, demonstrate physical strength and agility and test their responsiveness under pressure.

Participants will also have the ability to customize their journey during technical training by selecting a challenge that matches a career field of interest to them.

Participants will also visit an interactive uniform experience, where they can digitally view themselves wearing the Air Guard uniform from their chosen career field.
