Valentini's Celebrates 80 Years

Valentini's is celebrating a big anniversary this year. Justina Valentini, who immigrated from Italy, opened the doors in Chisholm in July of 1934.

On Tuesday, Valentini's in Chisholm and Duluth honored this anniversary with specials that revolved around $.80.

"It's so special that we've been around for 80 years. Not that many businesses can say that. We have third generations running the business, and we hope to have a fourth!" Carol Valentini said. She runs the Duluth location with Mia Valentini.

The original Chisholm restaurant is owned by Paul David Marturano and Rob Russo.

Some of the specials on Tuesday, which run till 9pm, include buy one, get one for $.80 mega meatballs!
