A committee of the whole meeting was scheduled to discuss councilor Howie Hanson's proposal to build a casino at the DECC.

That resolution was on the agenda for Monday, but it was tabled last week because two city councilors were not present.

The committee of the whole meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 21. Council President Linda Krug said she anticipates it being a closed meeting.
