Grandma's Marathon Registration Update

To accommodate those impacted by today’s cancellation of the Minneapolis Marathon,officals have reopened registration for Grandma’s Marathon.

Marathon registration, which initially closed yesterday, May 31, now will remain open until 11:59 p.m. (CDT) on Monday, June 2.

    A man attempted to break out of the St. Louis County Jail on Tuesday, according to the sheriff's office. The suspect was being brought to jail after allegedly trying to break into a church in Duluth. The attempted escape happened at about noon.

  • MPCA Commissioner to EPA: Wrong to Reverse Variance

    The Commissioner of the MPCA sent a letter to the EPA, saying the agency is wrong for reversing its approval of a variance for Mesabi Nugget.

  • Jesse Ventura Wins $1.8M in Defamation Lawsuit

    Jesse Ventura has won the defamation case against "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle. The jury reached a verdict just after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The jury awarded Ventura $500,000 for defamation and $1.3 million for unjust enrichment.
