1 Person Escapes Injury in Home Fire near Brimson

A home caught fire East of Brimson late Wednesday night. 

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says fire crews responded at 10:56 p.m. to a single family home on Elo Road. The home was fully engulfed when crews arrived.

The homeowner was inside, but she was able to escape without injury. The home is a total loss.

The sheriff's office says the fire likely began in a wood burning stove.
