Body of Missing Man Found in Itasca Co.

The Itasca County Sheriff's Office says the body of a missing man has been found in rural Bigfork.

The body of Gregory Arthur Thurston, 51, was found about a half-mile from his residence near Rainbow Lake on Friday morning.  Thurston had been reported missing on Wednesday.

Foul play is not suspected.

Itasca County Search and Rescue, Itasca County Dive Team, Bigfork Fire Department, Bigfork Ambulance Service, Balsam Fire Department, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Border Patrol, and the Northwoods Saddle Club assisted the sheriff's office in the search.
