Surprise! Another spring snowstorm decided to interrupt our day on Thursday, April 24. Snow began in late morning for the Twin Ports up the North Shore and picked up in intensity during the afternoon. Snow continued through the overnight into Friday.

Pilot Safely Rescued after Ditching Cirrus Plane in Sea
The pilot of a small plane ditched into the sea after running out of fuel 250 miles off Hawaii, but he was safely rescued after officials guided the stricken craft to the area of a cruise ship.
Nolan: 3 Iron Range Mines Reach Haze Deal with EPA
Two Northland mining companies have reached an agreement on haze with federal regulators, according to U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan.
