An apartment complex in the Lincoln Park neighborhood was engulfed in flames early Wednesday morning.

Our crew arrived at the 2700 block of West 4th Street around 5:00 a.m.

Darrel Robinson says he is a resident of the building. He says he had just smelt something, when a neighbor knocked at the door and told him the home was on fire.

Fire officials say there were four residents of this building. All four made it out safely. The Red Cross is assisting those people with shelter tonight.

Damage to the building is estimated at $100,000, and the investigation is ongoing.
