Timelapse: Variety of shots of Lunar Eclipse

Sky-gazers were treated to a full lunar eclipse on Tuesday, April 15. The moon was eclipsed by the Earth's shadow. The total phase lasted about 78 minutes.

Photojournalist Carl Sauer ventured out to capture the lunar eclipse on Tuesday, April 15. We are posting a number of timelapse video from early morning, Sauer began filming around 2AM.

This is a compilation of video over the course of the morning, beginning at 2AM.
