Discover Wisconsin runs on channels 10 & 13 on Sundays at 5:30 p.m.

Mariah Haberman is one of four co-hosts of Discover Wisconsin. She joined us on the show Tuesday morning, along with Brittany Berrens, Director of Marketing at the Superior-Douglas County Visitor's Bureau.

Discover Wisconsin is the nation's longest running tourism TV show. Mariah tells us that the show "...involves a lot of outdoor recreation, a lot of boating, and skiing, and fishing, and ATVing!"

This Sunday, they are airing a special segment on Barron, Burnett, Douglas and Washburn county's ATV trails. "It's been really exciting working with Discover Wisconsin...it's great to be able to show the rest of the state, the rest of the region what we have to offer," Brittany tells us.

Brittany also tells us that everyone is very excited to see this weeks episode. Mariah said that one of her favorite places they visited in NorthWestern Wisconsin included Comstock Creamery.

    There were some tense moments during a candidate forum for the Saint Louis County Board Monday. Two sets of candidates answered some tough questions during the forum set up by the Duluth News Tribune. In District One, Jim Booth is challenging incumbent Frank Jewell. Former state legislator Tom Rukavina and Christina Hujanen are fighting for the District Four seat.

  • Duluth Authorities Increase Reward for Information about Historic Home Arson

    As the Duluth Police Department continue to search for whomever allegedly set a historic Duluth house on fire, they announced on Monday that the reward for information has increased.

  • City Councilor Joins Growing Field Vying for Superior Mayor

    City Councilor Mike Herrick made the official announcement on Monday night. He says his campaign will focus on continuing to grow the city, keeping young people in the city, and making Superior more business-friendly.
