Much of the Northland dodged a late winter storm just two days before the beginning of spring! Snow began to fall early Tuesday morning on March 18 with the brunt of it extending from Gogebic County in Upper Michigan, southwest through the Wisconsin snowbelt into central Minnesota.

Varying amounts of snow fell with the heaviest amounts along a narrow band of snow, not 60 miles wide, that stretches from the U.P., through northwest WI, the Twin Ports, and into central MN.
