Macalester Concert Choir, Sacred Heart Put on Free Show

A St. Paul choir paid a visit to Duluth on Sunday evening.

The Macalester Concert Choir is the premier choral ensemble of Macalester College in St. Paul. They performed a free concert at Sacred Heart Music Center on Sunday.

The choir tours every year. In the past they've performed within the U.S., as well as in Japan, Scotland, Poland and Costa Rica.

    A 37-year-old man called police early Tuesday morning and told dispatchers to send officers to a Lincoln Park residence.  The man allegedly met officers at the door and told them they should arrest him because he just killed his mother.
