Created: 02/04/2014 9:20 AM

The community has the chance to see both a new stage production, along with some great short films coming up!

Scott Hebert, an actor in the new Duluth Playhouse production 'The Odd Couple' came on the show Tuesday morning, along with Maria James who works for the Playhouse.

Brittany spoke with Scott about the upcoming show, 'The Odd Couple'.  He tells us that the main characters actually "swapping roles each night," saying "they have to learn virtually the entire script." The Playhouse is giving it their own twist by having the lead characters switch roles like this, so it should make for a great take on this classic show!

Maria came on the show to talk about the upcoming Short Shorts Film Festival set for Saturday. The shorts, showing at The Underground, are all less than 5 minutes in length, and come from local, regional, and even national submissions. Maria tells us that the "audience gets to vote" on who the winners will be from the entries.

You can catch the Short Shorts Film Festival at 7:00 PM on Saturday at The Underground. You can get tickets are more info on their website at, or call 218-733-7555.

And the play, 'The Odd Couple' will run from February 6 - 16, only on Thursdays through Sundays. Showtimes for Thursdays through Saturdays are 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 2:00 PM. You can find more information by also going to their website at, or by calling 218-733-7555.
