GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Aaron Rodgers looked fine on the practice field. It doesn't mean he will play Sunday against Pittsburgh.

There was definitive word Thursday on whether or not Rodgers will be medically cleared to return from his left collarbone injury in time for Sunday's game.

Rodgers made several references to his playing status being an "organizational decision."

Coach Mike McCarthy says the quarterback looked good and thought he was ready to play, though that doesn't constitute clearance.

Backup Matt Flynn would start if Rodgers doesn't go.

On defense, the Packers have ruled out lineman Johnny Jolly with shoulder and neck injuries that McCarthy said were significant.
