One person is dead after a two-car crash on an icy Highway 210 in Aitkin County.

82-year-old Vera Hunt, of Deerwood, was traveling westbound on 210 near 445th Avenue when she lost control of her car.

The Minnesota State Patrol says her car slid into eastbound lane at 6:59 p.m. Monday and was struck on the passenger side by an oncoming vehicle.

The condition of the occupant(s) of the other car was not listed Monday night.

Authorities say more information will be released Tuesday morning.
