Guys and Dolls at Marshall High School

Created: 11/15/2013 11:02 AM WDIO.com

Take a step back in time to a world of gamblers, missionaries and mobsters for Marshall High School's production of Guys and Dolls.  The high-energy musical will have you dancing in your seat, this weekend only.

Marshall senior Ian Peters and junior Elle Scott stopped by Good Morning Northland Friday to talk about the show.  The two star in the show playing off of each other.  Peters plays gambler Sky Masterson whose world is sent for a spin by Save a Soul missionary Sister Sarah Brown.

"I'm the mission doll and I really just want to make New York a better place," Scott said.  "She's a tough cookie."  The two characters are pretty set in their ways until they make a bet on love, Scott says.

The show is filled with big musical numbers and non-stop energy from the cast.  This year, Marshall High School is pulling out all the stops for everything from costumes to sets.

"The three worlds are director told us from the beginning are big, bright and bold," Peters said.

The show runs for one weekend only and you don't want to miss it!  Guys and Dolls runs Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m.  Saturday, November 16 at noon and Sunday, November 17 at 2 p.m.

Get your tickets at the door.  Adults are $8, $5 for students and tickets for Marshall students are just $3.
