Ely, Floodwood Win Section 9-Man Titles

Esko, Minn. - Ely and Floodwood have advanced to the Minnesota State Football Tournament, picking up wins on Friday in section final games held in Esko.

In a battle of unbeaten teams, Ely defeated Kelliher-Northome 32-22 for the Section 7, 9-Man crown.

in Section 5, 9-Man, Floodwood stayed unbeaten, defeating South Ridge 37-20.

Ely (11-0) will now face Floodwood (11-0) in the State 9-Man Quarterfinals on Friday, November 8th at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth.
