It was an emotional day in court for the family of a Duluth murder victim, but they did hear the sentence they asked for.

Joshua Olson's father said he misses his son every day, and that he hopes his killer "rots in hell."

Olson was killed in the Spring of 2012. The man convicted for his murder, Joshua Lee Littlewolf, represented himself during the trial in September.

Littlewolf is now facing a 40-year prison sentence, which is what both the prosecution and family had asked for.

In court Friday, Littlewolf continued to assert the Native Mob killed Olson. When he began berating the victim's family, the judge stopped him abruptly and handed down the sentence.
