The young and young at heart in Superior are making sure their community continues to grow in the future.
Superior Young Professionals had their launch party Thursday at the Nemadji Golf Course. It's a brand new opportunity for young professionals living or working in Superior to network and get to know others with similar interests.
Board member Lynne Williams said it's a great way to engage and retain the young people of Superior.
"It's important to engage the young individuals who you have in a community, to retain them so they decide they want to stay and grow their families here, get engaged in the community, and give back to the community," said Williams.
Their mission is to "connect the young professionals who live and/or work in Superior community to strengthen the Superior community," according to Eric Siljendahl, President of the Superior Young Professionals.
"It's vitally important (to network)", said Brodeen. It's a great way to maintain relationship and retain young people in the area, he continued.
