    Jesse Ventura has won the defamation case against "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle. The jury reached a verdict just after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The jury awarded Ventura $500,000 for defamation and $1.3 million for unjust enrichment.

  • Pedestrian Hit by Car in Itasca Co.

    A pedestrian was hit by a car in Itasca County early Tuesday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. They said a car headed east on Highway 2 hit a 46-year-old Deer River woman. She was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Grand Rapids Teen Accused of Kidnapping Friend, Ex-Girlfriend

    A Grand Rapids 18-year-old faces seven felony charges after allegedly forcing a friend to drive him to the home of an ex-girlfriend with whom he has a three-month-old child, and then kidnapping and choking the ex-girlfriend.
