Temple Israel Art Auction

Temple Israel in Duluth is hosting an Art Auction and Concert on Saturday, September 21st.

The preview, along with complimentary wine and cheese tasting starts at 6:30 PM. Wine is provided by the Lake Aire Bottle Shop. Live operatic music by Rachel Inselman and Marcu McConico begins at 7:00 PM. And the auction itself begins at 7:30 PM.

This exceptional art collection includes works by Rockwell, Dali, DeLacroix, Picasso, and more! This is a fundraiser for Temple Israel. It includes a variety of art including lithographs, etchings, engravings, watercolors, silkscreens, giclees, cartoon cells, original oils and mixed media.

Admission is free. Temple Israel requests thaty ou RSVP at 724-8857 or at . If you RSVP, you will receive five free door prize tickets, giving you a chance to win a work of art. You must be present to win.

If you can't make it on Saturday, there will be coffee, bagels, and another viewing of art Sunday from 9:00 AM to noon.

    The Minnesota DNR is increasing the target harvest for this fall's wolf hunt from 250 to 280. The DNR says the latest population survey estimates that there were 2,423 wolves living in Minnesota this past winter, which is 212 more animals than estimated the previous winter.

  • Missing Employee Found at Soudan Underground Mine State Park

    Authorities have located 76-year-old Adrienne De Vries at the Soudan Underground Mine State Park. De Vries is an employee of the park, and lost her way when walking down a trail. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department says she was transported to Ely Hospital to get checked as a precautionary.

    Here in the Northland, we're used to lakes, but a new toy is changing how we enjoy the water. The flyboard is making its Twin Ports debut. It's a water jet pack on a board that is hooked up to a jet ski. The water launches you up to 55 feet in the air.
