Carl Lee, who is from Hoyt Lakes, is battling to survive. The 53-year-old is the Marketing and Programming Director for the Broadway theatre season for the Hennepin Theatre Trust in Minneapolis.

He has a wife and two daughters.

The theatre community is banding together to put on a musical benefit for Lee and his family.

It's coming up on Monday, the 29th, at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.
