Authorities say three people are in custody, for allegedly invading a home in Aurora and assaulting a couple inside.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's department said that they responded around 12:15am on Tuesday, to the 200 block of W. 2nd Avenue North.

There, a couple reported that two black men came into their home, and assaulted them. A young child also lives at that address.

Authorities said the motive may have been related to money owed for baby-sitting.

A neighbor helped provide descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle, along with two women who were riding along.

Officers located the vehicle at the Lakeland Trailer Park south of Biwabik, less than an hour later.

One woman and one man were arrested.

Another suspect fled from the scene on foot, and could not be immediately located.

That third suspect was arrested around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Duluth Greyhound Bus Terminal. Authorities say the male suspect was waiting to board a bus to Minneapolis. The suspect offered no resistance, and was was transported to the St. Louis County Jail in Virginia.
