Franken and Flood Relief: 1 Year Later

Flood relief is still on-going, even a year later. And U.S. Senator Al Franken said that he wants to know how the process is working, for stakeholders in our communities.

So he met with them on Tuesday afternoon in Duluth.

"I want to hear how the experience was for them. There might be something I can do in the future to make it go smoother," Franken said.

The leaders in the flood relief teams said that for the most part, their work with the government was positive.

One main issue, which was not government related, has to do with tenant-landlord issues and flood repair.
