Red Flag Warning for Park Point Beaches

The Duluth Fire Department issued a Condition Red Flag early on Monday, July 1st and continuing until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2 for Park Point beaches. A Red Flag means a High Risk of rip currents.

Rip currents are life-threatening to anyone entering the surf. All persons are advised to stay out of the water. When conditions improve, you will be notified at that time. Lifeguards are not present at Park Point.

All persons regardless of swimming experience are advised to stay out of the water. Condition flags will be out at 12th St beach, Lafayette Square, and Park Point beach.
