Duluth Shooting Suspect to be Released Without Charges

Assistant County Attorney Rebekka Stumme said the 70-year-old suspect will be released while the Duluth Police Department further investigates the incident.
The shooting happened June 6 on the 200 block of East Sixth Street. The victim was identified as Betty Jean Grigsby, 48. She was found by officers with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. At last check, she was in serious condition.
The suspect was initially arrested for second-degree attempted murder and second-degree assault.
