The Pilgrim Congregational Church Choir performed a cantata called "A New Creation" on Sunday. The cantata was written by René Clausen, a contemporary American composer who lives right here in Minnesota.
Clausen is a professor of music and choir director at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. He says the different movements of the cantata are attempts to characterize the relationship between God and humans.
